Ingredients

 4 to 6 large ripe tomatoes, peeled, seeded and cut into 1-inch cubes
 8 ounces mozzarella, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
 1 cup black olives, pitted or 1 cup small black Italian olives in oil
 Salt To Taste
 Ground pepper1 To taste
 Olive oil4 Tablespoon
 1 or 2 tablespoons vinegar
 1/4 cup minced basil or parsley

Directions

Combine the tomatoes, mozzarella and olives in a glass salad bowl.
Sprinkle with a little salt (the olives may be salty) and pepper.
Stir together the olive oil and the vinegar and pour over the salad.
Add the basil and toss carefully with a fork.
