Finocchio Al Forno Recipe
The Finocchio Al Forno is a delicious vegetarian dish. I prepare it for my vegan friends whenever they come for dinner. You can also use them at dinner parties. Go ahead, and surprise your guest with this wonderful Finocchio Al Forno.
Ingredients
| Fennel, bunches 4 | ||
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1 Pinch | |
| Butter | 2 Ounce | |
| Parmesan cheese | 4 Ounce, grated | |
Directions
Chop off the tops and the hard bottoms of the fennel and wash thoroughly under running water, then cut in quarters.
Put in a large pot and cover with water.
Bring to a boil and cook for 10-15 minutes until tender, then remove and drain.
Heat oven to 350°F./120°C and place fennels in a buttered baking dish.
Season with salt and pepper, top with butter, and sprinkle with cheese.
Cook in the oven for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted, then serve immediately.
