2 pounds fillet of sole
 
Melted fat
 
Salt and pepper
 
1/2 cup almonds, blanched and slivered
 
2 tablespoons butter or margarine

Directions

Wipe fillets with damp cloth.
Place fillets, skin side down, on preheated broiling pan.
Brush with melted fat.
Season with salt and pepper.
Place pan 2 inches from source of heat.
Broil about 8 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
Meanwhile, lightly brown almonds in hot butter.
Serve over top of fillets.
