Fillet Steak Tandoori Recipe
Fillet Steak Tandoori! I was looking for a unique and filling beef dish to feed my meat crazy husband when I came upon this innovative Fillet Steak Tandoori recipe! You really have to give it a try. I am so sure you will love it!
Ingredients
4 fillet steaks
2 tablespoons oil
Marinade:
1 cup and 2 tablespoons unflavored yogurt
1 tablespoon paprika pepper
1 clove garlic, crushed
3 bay leaves
5 peppercorns
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 teaspoon lemon juice fresh
Bay leaves to garnish
Directions
1 Prick the steaks well with a fork and place in a 30 x 20 x 5cm/ 12x8x2 inch ovenproof glass dish.
2 Mix all the ingredients for the marinade.
3 Pour the marinade over the steaks, ensuring complete coverage.
4 Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
5 Remove bay leaves and peppercorns and discard.
6 Preheat a browning dish: 4 minutes on full power for a small size; 7 minutes on full power for a large size.
7 Put the oil in the dish, then, using a slotted spoon, arrange steaks in dish.
8 Microwave on power 8 for 5 minutes, turning the steaks over once, half way through cooking.
9 Allow to rest for 4 minutes, and garnish with bay leaves. Serve with Fluffy Rice and an orange salad.
