Ingredients

 
1/2 cupful chopped figs or dates
 
1/4 cupful chopped walnut meats or cocoanut
 
1 tablespoonful flour
 
2 tablespoonful chopped
 
1/4 cupful sugar candied ginger
 
1/4 cupful water
 
1/8 teaspoonful salt

Directions

Cool and spread on dough.
Roll up like jelly roll.
Cut in 1 inch pieces.
Lay flat slices on a greased sheet to rise.
When light, bake in hot oven of 400° F. for 20 min.
The whole roll may be baked in a bread pan for 1 hr. if preferred.
