Filbert Stuffing For Turkey Recipe
Ingredients
| 4 qts. bread cubes | ||
| Filberts | 2 Cup (16 tbs), coarsely chopped | |
| Snipped parsley | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Celery | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| 1 turkey liver, cut in small pieces | ||
| Milk | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Onion | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Butter/Margarine | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Put all ingredients except onion and butter into a large bowl; set aside.
Cook onion about 3 minutes in hot butter in a skillet.
Add to ingredients in bowl; toss lightly to mix.
Lightly spoon into body and neck cavities of turkey (do not pack).
