Filbert Crescents Recipe
Ingredients
1 cup butter, softened
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups whole wheat pastry flour
1 cup ground filberts
Directions
Cream butter, honey, and vanilla until light.
Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
Chill until firm, several hours or overnight.
Preheat oven to 350° F.
Shape small pieces of chilled dough into tiny rolls.
Twist into crescents and place on ungreased baking sheets.
Bake about 12 minutes.
Let crescents stand for a few minutes before removing from baking sheet.
