Baked Fig Bars Recipe Video
We are baking for the first time today. The very first time. This dish is a snack bar made from figs. A healthy snack dish.
Ingredients
Dried figs
Lemon juice
Honey
Fresh figs
Soy butter
Brown Sugar
1 oz Egg white
Flour, Protein powder
Cinammon powder
Directions
Chop dried figs and put them in a sauce pan with water. Water should cover figs. Chop some fresh figs also.
Add some lemons juice, honey.
For the pastry, add soy butter, brown sugar, egg white, flour, protein powder, cinammon and mix it well to make a dough.
Roll out the dough and cut into pieces and add the figs filling to it.
Fold the pastries and bake them at 350 F for 20 minutes. The fig bars are ready.
