Fig Sweets Recipe
Ingredients
| 350 g -12 oz dried figs | ||
| 115 g - 4 oz dates | ||
| 25 whole toasted almonds | ||
| 85 g - 3 oz hazelnuts finely chopped | ||
| 55 g - 2 oz almonds chopped | ||
| 55 g - 2 oz pistachio nuts, chopped | ||
Directions
Chop the figs and dates and puree in a blender and transfer into a mixing bowl.
Shape this mixture into 25 small balls with your hands and push a whole almond into the centre of each ball.
The almond should be completely covered with the fruit.
Spread out the chopped hazel nuts, almonds and pistachio nuts on a sheet of waxed paper.
Roll each ball into the nuts and cover again completely.
