Cut figs into two halves and arrange them on the dish with some cut side down and some cut side up.
To make the batter
Take 4 eggs and put those in a bowl. Add ½ a cup sugar and whisk it together to dissolve the sugar and change color to pale yellow.
Then add ½ cup whole organic milk. Then take 1 cup flour and start adding little by little and mix throughout.
Use 2 tbsp of melted butter in the batter and a small pinch of salt.
Pour the batter into the fig dish.
Put this in an oven preheated to 325 degrees and bake until golden brown. It will take roughly about 20-25 minutes.
Our fig Clafoutis has come out of the oven and is cooled to room temperature.
It’s a nice and great looking dessert.
Take a nice scoop if it out and place in a serving tray and add a dollop of Greek yogurt and this is a gorgeous dessert.
