Fiesta Cheese Strata Recipe
|Sourdough bread slice||6 , crusts removed|
|Finely shredded reduced fat sharp cheddar cheese||8 Ounce (2 Cups)|
|Evaporated skim milk||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Dry mustard||1 Teaspoon|
|Canned diced green chili peppers||4 Ounce (With Juices, 1 Can)|

Cut the bread into 1/2" cubes.
Place half of the bread cubes in the baking dish, then top with half of the cheese.
Repeat layers with the remaining bread and cheese.
In a medium bowl, beat together the milk, egg whites, dry mustard and salt until well combined.
Stir in the chili peppers (with juices).
Pour the milk mixture over the cheese and bread in the dish.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Preheat the oven to 350°.
Remove the cover from the strata and bake about 45 minutes or until puffy.
