Fiery Honan Beef Recipe
|Lean beef||1 Pound, thinly sliced|
|Soy sauce||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm)|
|Scallions/Green onion tops||2 Bunch (200 gm)|
|Carrots||1 Cup (16 tbs), thinly sliced|
|Celery||2 Cup (32 tbs), thinly sliced|
|Ground ginger||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Hot pepper flakes||1 Teaspoon|
|Canned button mushrooms||12 Ounce (2 Can)|
|Toasted blanched almonds||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|

Let stand at room temperature for 1 hour.
In large skillet, heat oil until it sizzles.

Add 1 cup water; simmer with lid on for 10 to 15 minutes, or until meat is tender.
Add remaining ingredients, except pepper flakes.
Cook until vegetables are terider but crisp.
Add pepper flakes until they are the way you like it.
They are very hot, so add a few at a time.
