Ingredients

 
3/4 lb. fettuccine
 
2 tbsp. olive oil
 
2 tbsp. butter
 
1 garlic clove, crushed
 
1 tbsp. finely chopped onion
 
4 medium tomatoes, diced
 
8 oz. smoked salmon,chopped
 
4 tbsp. vodka
 
1 cup heavy cream
 
Pepper to taste
 
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
 
1 oz. caviar (fish roe), optional

Directions

Cook in boiling water until al dente (firm to the bite).
Drain and set aside.
Meanwhile, prepare sauce.
Heat in large skillet.
Add and saute for 2 minutes.
Add and cook on medium heat for 5 minutes.
Lower heat.
Add, cover, and simmer for 10 more minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add along with pasta and toss well.
