Ingredients
3/4 lb. fettuccine
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. oil
3 cups chopped mushrooms (preferably wild mushrooms)
1 lb. scallops
1 1/4 cups heavy cream
2 tbsp. chopped basil (1 tsp. dry)
Directions
Cook in boiling water until al dente (firm to the bite).
Drain and set aside.
Meanwhile, prepare sauce.
Heat in large skillet.
Add and cook until soft.
Add and saute until just undercooked.
Add and cook on a moderate heat for approx. 3-4 minutes, being careful not to overcook the scallops.
Add to above along with pasta and toss.
