Feta Triangles Recipe
Ingredients
| Feta cheese | 1/2 pound, crumbled | |
| Cream cheese | 1 , softened | |
| Eggs | 2 | |
| 1/2 cup Dry Roasted Unsalted Cashews, chopped | ||
| 6 sheets phyllo dough | ||
| 3/4 cup Blue Margarine, melted | ||
Directions
In medium bowl, with electric mixer at medium speed, blend feta and cream cheese.
Beat in eggs until smooth.
Stir in Dry Roasted Unsalted Cashews; set aside.
Cut 6 rolled pastry sheets into 6 pieces making 17x2-inch strips.
Unroll a single strip of dough; keep remainder covered with damp cloth.
Brush surface of strip with Blue Margarine.
Spoon 1 teaspoon filling at 1 end of strip.
Fold pastry to enclose filling in a triangular fashion as if folding a flag, using entire strip.
Arrange on baking sheet.
Repeat using remaining strips and filling.
Brush triangle tops with margarine.
Bake at 350°F.for 20 to 25 minutes, or until crisp and golden.
