Festive Cranberry Date Muffins Recipe
cranberry date muffins are the perfct fruity mufffins for the eternal fruit lover. Made with orange loaf and dat emuffin mixed, this muffin recipe also has almonds and pecans in it apart from the fresh cranberries. Go ahead and bake these flavorful and fruity muffins up for a real treat.
Ingredients
| 3/4 cup chopped almonds,pecans or walnuts 175 mL | ||
| 1 pkg date and orangeloaf and muffin mix | ||
| Milk | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 2 eggs, lightly beaten | ||
| 3 tbsp butter, melted 45 mL | ||
| Cranberries | 1 Cup (16 tbs), cut in half | |
Directions
Toast nuts in preheated oven for 5 minutes or until slightly browned.
Set aside.
Into a large bowl, pour muffin mix and make a well in the center.
Add milk, eggs and butter, stirring just until blended.
Fold in nuts and cranberries.
Spoon batter into prepared muffin tin, filling cups three-quarters full.
Bake in preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean and dry.
