1/2 cup sugar

1 tablespoon shortening

1 egg

1/2 cup cold water

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 cup flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

Put 1/4 cup honey, mixed with 2 tablespoons hot water in bottom of greased pudding dish.
Steam 1 hour.
Serve with cream or whipped cream.
