Ingredients
Butter or margarine-1/2 cup
Sugar-1/3 cup
Molasses-1/2 cup
Eggs-2, well beaten
Sour milk-2 tablespoons
All-purpose flour-2 1/2 cups, sifted
Salt -1/2 teaspoon
Baking soda -1 teaspoon
Ginger -3/4 teaspoon
Seedless raisins-1/2 cup, chopped
Directions
MAKING
1)In a bowl, beat together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
2)Add molasses, eggs and milk and beat.
3)In a bowl, sift together flour, salt, soda and ginger.
4)Add it into creamed mixture. Add raisins and mix.
5)Take a greased baking sheet and drop spoonsful on it.
6)Bake in a moderately-hot oven at 375 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
SERVING
7)Serve the cookies when desired.
