Fast Fix Brunswick Stew Recipe
Ingredients
| Onion | 1 Medium | |
| Green pepper | 1 To taste | |
| Celery | 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Butter/Margarine | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Mixed vegetables | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Okra | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Cream style corn | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Tomato Paste | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Tabasco sauce | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Black pepper | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Beef roast | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Fine bread crumbs - 1 cup (optional) | ||
Directions
MAKING
1 In a pan, melt butter.
2 Saute onion, green pepper and celery over low heat until just tender.
3 Mix in the remaining ingredients except meat and crumbs.
4 Add in the meat.
5 Cook, covered over low heat for 30 minutes.
6 If the stew is not thick enough, stir in the crumbs just before serving.
SERVING
7 Serve at once.
