Fancy Barbecue Chicken With Pasta Recipe
Ingredients
| 6 chicken breasts, halves (4 oz. each), boneless and skinless | ||
| Artichoke hearts | 1 Can (10oz), drained | |
| Sliced mushrooms | 2 Can (10oz), drained | |
| Cooked spaghetti package | 1 | |
| 2 Tbs. brown sugar (or 1/2 tsp. Sweet N Low Brown) (optional) | ||
| Paprika | 1 Teaspoon (Sauce:) | |
| Lite salt | 1/2 Teaspoon (Sauce:) | |
| 1 tsp. dry mustard dash cayenne pepper | ||
| Worcestershire sauce | 2 Tablespoon (Sauce:) | |
| Tomato juice | 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Sauce:) | |
| 1/2 cup ketchup or chile sauce | ||
| Vinegar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) (Sauce:) | |
| Onion | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped (Sauce:) | |
Directions
Saute onion in tomato juice until soft.
Add the rest of the ingredients and cook over low heat about 15-30 minutes.
Add mushrooms and artichokes and simmer 5 more minutes.
Place cooked chicken breast on a plate of pasta and spoon sauce over chicken.
