Family Fish Pie Recipe
Ingredients
| Cod | 450 Gram | |
| 225 g shelled peas | ||
| Milk | 450 Milliliter | |
| Butter | 40 Gram | |
| Flour | 40 Gram | |
| Eggs | 3 , boiled | |
| 2 x 18 ml spoons mayonnaise | ||
| Ground black pepper | 1 To taste | |
| Potatoes | 675 Gram, peeled | |
| Milk and butter | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
Directions
MAKING
1.Remove the skin of the cod and rinse it well.
2.Take a pan, put peas and milk in it.
3.Add rinsed cod to it and cook for 10 minutes until the fish starts chipping.
4.Transfer the ingredients into a bowl and keep aside.
5.Wash the pan and heat butter in it.
6.Once heated, turn the flame off and add flour.
7.Filter the milk from the bowl kept aside and put it into the pan.
8.Let the ingredients boil.
9.Discard bones from the fish and put it into the pan along with peas.
10.Add hard boiled eggs, seasoning and mayonnaise.
11.Take a 3 pint foil dish, put the prepared ingredients in it and allow to cool.
12.Meanwhile, boil the potatoes.
13.Once done, peel and crumble.
14.Mix milk and butter and add seasoning.
15.Make a border of boiled potatoes round the edge of the dish.
SERVING
16.Top with parsley and tomato slices before serving.
17.Defrost overnight in refrigerator and heat at 220 degrees C for
