Everyday Meatloaf Recipe
Ingredients
2 eggs
1/2 c. ketchup 125 mL
1/2 c. milk 125 mL
1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef 750 g
1 small onion, finely chopped
3/4 c. stale bread crumbs 175 mL
1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning 2 mL
1/2 tsp. sage 2 mL
1/4 tsp. thyme 1 mL
3/4 tsp. salt 4 mL
Dash freshly ground black pepper
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 5 mL
1/8-1/4 tsp. ground ginger 1 mL
Directions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Mix together the eggs, ketchup and milk and add to the ground beef in a large bowl.
Add all the other ingredients and mix well.
Pack the mixture into a well greased 8 1/2" x 4 1/2" (21 x 11 cm) loaf pan.
Bake for about 35-45 minutes.
Let stand 5 minutes before slicing.
