Ingredients
2 1/2 tablespoons Calumet Baking Powder
1 tablespoon salt
6 cups (1 1/2 quarts) sifted flour
1 cup shortening
Directions
Combine baking powder and salt and mix well.
Measure' 3 cups of the flour into sifter and add 1/2 of the baking powder and salt mixture; sift into large bowl.
Repeat, sifting remaining dry in gredients together.
Cut in shortening with pastry blender or two knives until finely divided and mixture resembles coarse meal
