Escargot Recipe
Escargot packs in the richness of butter, garlic, parsley, snails and nutmeg. This Escargot is truly a variety dish. Just give it a try!
Ingredients
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/2 to 1 teaspoon garlic powder or instant minced garlic
1 tablespoon snipped parsley
Dash nutmeg
41/2 oz. can snails
24 snail shells
Directions
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Combine butter, garlic, parsley and nutmeg.
Place 1 snail in each shell; top with about 1 teaspoon butter mixture.
Bake, uncovered, 10 to 12 minutes or until snails are firm.
Serve immediately with remaining butter sauce for dipping.
