Ingredients

 1 head of curly endive, hand torn
 3 heads of endive, minced
 2 green apples, diced
 Walnuts2 Tablespoon, chopped (Dressing)
 Olive oil1/4 Cup (16 tbs) (Dressing)
 Hot mustard2 Teaspoon (Dressing)
 Wine vinegar2 Tablespoon (Dressing)
 Port wine1 Ounce (Dressing)
 Red peppers1 Teaspoon, crushed (Dressing)
 Salt To Taste
 Pepper To Taste

Directions

In a salad bowl, mix both kinds of endive.
Cover with diced apples.
In a small airtight jar, combine dressing ingredients.
Seal jar.
Shake vigorously.
Pour dressing over salad, tossing gently.
