End Of The Garden Tomato Relish Recipe
Ingredients
| Green tomatoes | 12 | |
| Green bell peppers | 4 | |
| Red bell peppers | 4 | |
| Yellow onions | 3 | |
| Sugar | 2 Cup (32 tbs) | |
| Celery salt | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Yellow mustard | 6 Ounce (1 Jar Of 6 Ounce) | |
| Salad dressing | 1 Quart (Mayonnaise Type) |
Directions
Grind the tomatoes, bell peppers and onions into a bowl and let stand at room temperature, covered, for 2 hours.
Place the tomato mixture in cheesecloth and squeeze as dry as possible.
Combine the tomato mixture, sugar, celery, salt and mustard in a heavy 4 quart kettle over medium high heat; bring to a boil.
Boil for 30 minutes, stirring frequently.
Stir in the mayonnaise type salad dressing; return to a boil.
Remove from heat.
Ladle into pint jars.
Chill, covered, until ready to use.
