Ingredients

 Lean ground beef1 pound
 Onion1 , chopped
 Salt1 Teaspoon
 1/4, teaspoon pepper
 Chili powder1 Tablespoon
 Tomato sauce1 Can (10oz)
 6 corn.tortillas
 Butter or margarine
 Black olives1 Can (10oz), chopped
 Shredded sharp Cheddar cheese1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Water1/2 Cup (16 tbs)

Directions

In a wide frying pan over medium-high heat, brown beef and onion.
Add salt, pepper, chili powder, and tomato sauce.
Spread each tortilla with butter.
In a 2-quart casserole, alternate layers of buttered tortillas, meat sauce, olives, and cheese.
Add water, cover, and bake in a 400° oven for 20 minutes.
