Emma's Green Beans With New Potatoes Recipe

Directions
Remove the ends and string the green beans.
Combine the green beans, salt pork, onions, new potatoes, and the salt in a large saucepan.
Add water to cover and bring to a boil over high heat.
Reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until the beans and potatoes are tender when pierced with a fork.
Adjust the seasonings with salt and pepper before serving.
