Drain the potatoes and remove their skins when cool enough to handle.
While the sweet potatoes are boiling, preheat the oven to 400°F.
Lightly butter a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
Slice the potatoes into 1-inch rounds and place in layers in the baking dish.
Combine the butter, orange juice, brown sugar, and salt in a small saucepan over medium heat.
Cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes, or until the butter is melted and the sugar dissolved.
Pour over the potatoes, stir to evenly coat, and bake for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the juice mixture is bubbling.
