Ingredients
| 1 lb. ground elk or venison | ||
| Beef suet | 1/2 Pound | |
| Apples | 5 , chopped | |
| Raisins | 7 Pound | |
| Cider | 1 Pint | |
| Sugar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Molasses | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/2 c. citrus rind | ||
| Allspice and salt to taste | ||
| Cinnamon and nutmeg to taste | ||
| Brandy to taste | ||
Directions
Cook meat and suet until done.
Cool; remove fat.
Add all remaining ingredients except brandy; cook for 2 more hours.
Cool; add brandy.
