Elegant Beef Tenderloin Recipe

Ingredients
| 4 beef tenderloin steaks, cut 1/2 inch thick (1 pound) | ||
| Butter | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Brandy | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Dairy sour cream | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Catsup | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 2 dashes Worcestershire sauce | ||
| 2 drops bottled hot pepper sauce | ||
| Dash ground thyme | ||
Directions
In skillet cook steaks in butter over medium heat to desired doneness, turning once.
Allow 6 to 8 minutes total cooking time for medium-rare.
Remove pan from heat; pour halfof the brandy over cooked steaks.
Transfer steaks to serving platter; keep warm: Combine remaining brandy, sour cream, catsup, salt, Worcestershire sauce/hot pepper sauce, and thyme; add to same skillet.
Heat, stirring constantly, just till mixture is heated through.
Do not boil.
Spoon some of the sauce over steaks; pass remaining sauce.
