Elegant Apple Crisp Recipe
Ingredients
8 good size apples
1/2 cup each walnuts and pecans, chopped
1 1/2 cups light brown sugar, packed
1 cup unsifted flour
1/2 cup margarine
1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Peel, core and thinly slice apples; place in shallow 2 quart baking dish.
Spread with 1/2 the brown sugar.
Combine remaining sugar, flour, salt and nuts; using fingers rub margarine into mixture until it crumbles.
Spread over apples, pressing down around edges so topping completely covers apples.
Bake in oven 1 hour.
