Elegant Blueberry Dessert Recipe
Ingredients
| 1/2 cup nonfat milk | ||
| Cornstarch | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Orange liqueur | 2 Teaspoon | |
| 2 pkts. concentrated acesulfame-K | ||
| Vanilla extract | 2 Teaspoon | |
| 1 tsp concentrated aspartame-K | ||
| Egg white | 1 | |
| Pinch cream of tartar | ||
| Frozen blueberries | 2 Cup (16 tbs), Defrosted | |
Directions
Stir together the milk, cornstarch, liqueur if desired, and acesulfame-K in a medium saucepan.
Use a wire whisk to be sure the cornstarch is dissolved.
Bring to a boil and reduce the heat to a simmer, stirring constantly.
Turn off the heat and stir in the vanilla extract and aspartame.
In a separate bowl, beat the egg white until it holds its peaks, add the cream of tartar, and continue beating until the white is stiff.
Fold it into the milk-cornstarch mixture.
Then stir in the blueberries.
Pour the mixture into four fancy glasses, such as wine glasses.
Chill.
