Elderberry Wine Recipe
Ingredients
| Elderberries | 3 Pound | |
| Citric Acid- 1 teaspoon | ||
| Water | 1 Gallon | |
| Yeast | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Nutrient- as required | ||
| Sugar | 3 1/2 Pound | |
Directions
MAKING
1) Using the prongs of a fork, remove elderberries from their stalks.
2) In a large bowl, place the berries citric acid and pour the boiling water.
3) Cover the bowl for put aside for 3 days and strain on to the sugar.
4) Blend well, and stream into fermentation jar.
5) Stream until the shoulder of the jar only.
6) Place the spare liquid in a little bottle near the jar, with a cotton wool plug in the neck.
7) After the first violent activity has completed, add the reserved liquid.
8) Fit air-lock, rack and bottle as usual.
SERVING
9) Serve as desired.
