1. Preheat the oven at 400 degrees.
2. Fill hot water in the packet of hydrated potatoes, leave for 12 minutes.
3. Drain out the potatoes and put in a casserole.

4. Add in salt, cheddar cheese, spring onions and sour cream in the potato. Mix well all the ingredients.
5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the potato mixture.
6. Pour in the melted butter over the mixture.
7. Bake in oven for 30 minutes at 400 degrees.

8. Serve Hungary jack cheese potato casserole hot in a plate.
