Eggs Creole Recipe

Ingredients
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons chopped onion
2 tablespoons chopped green pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
Directions
Fry all ingredients in butter and remove from fire.
Add flour and milk (1 cup).
Make cream sauce and add salt and 1/4 teaspoon chili powder, 1 1/2 cups canned tomatoes.
Boil eggs hard and slice.
Butter casserole and alternate one layer of egg slices with one layer of sauce.
Top with 1/2 cup buttered bread crumbs and 1/2 cup grated cheese.
Bake 15 minutes in hot oven.
