Eggnog French Toast Recipe
Ingredients
| Loaf of Italian or French bread, cut in 12 3/4-inch slices (day-old bread is best) | ||
| 1-1/2 cups dairy eggnog | ||
| Butter | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cinnamon | ||
| Confectioners' sugar | ||
| Syrup | ||
Directions
Place bread in single layer in shallow dish.
Pour eggnog over bread.
Let stand, turning bread once, until eggnog is absorbed, about 5 minutes.
In large skillet cook slices in butter until golden on both sides.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and confectioners' sugar.
Serve hot with syrup.
