Eggnog Amandine Recipe
The Eggnog Amandine is one of my favorite drinks that can be served as a beverage. Prepared with eggnog and amaretto, the Eggnog Amandine are best served on family get together.
Ingredients
| 1 pint chilled eggnog | ||
| Orange peel | 1/2 Teaspoon, freshly grated | |
| Orange | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Amaretto | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Toasted slivered almonds | ||
| Freshly grated orange peel | ||
Directions
1. In a deep 1 quart casserole with lid, combine eggnog, orange peel and orange extract; blend well. Cover and microwave at 100% (high)3 to 3-1/2 minutes, stirring every 1 minute, until heated through. Do not boil.
2. Stir in amaretto. Cover and microwave at 100% (high) 30 to 45 seconds or until heated through.
