Ingredients

 
1/2 can condensed milk
 
150 gms self raising flour
 
1 level tsp baking powder
 
1/2 tsp soda bi-carbonate
 
75 ml melted butter
 
2 tsp vanilla essence

Directions

Point 1- Sieve the flour,baking powder and soda bi-carbonate together.

Point 2- Mix the flour mixture,condensed milk, meltedbutter,essence and 80 ml water and beat well.

Point 3- Pour the mixture into a greased and dusted 150 mm(6") diameter tin.

Point 4- Bake in a hot oven at 375 degrees fareinhite for 12 minutes.

Point 5- Then reduce the temparature to 300 degrees fareinhite and bake for a further 12 minutes.

Point 6- The cake is ready when it leaves the sides of the tin and is springy to touch. When ready ,take out from the oven and leave for 2 minutes.

Point7- Invert the tin over a rack and tap sharply to remove . Cool the cake.
