Eggless Gingerbread Recipe
This delicious eggless gingerbread is the perfect combo of the sweet n' spicy! Throw in a few dry or fresh fruits to make it look and feel awesome.
Ingredients
2 cups flour
1 tspn. Bi-carb.
1/2-cup each: sugar, butter, golden syrup
and boiling water
1 dssrtspn. each: cinnamon and ground ginger
pinch salt
Directions
Put the sugar into a half-pint measuring cup, and then fill the cup with syrup, and pour mixture into a bowl.
Next, put the butter into the cup and fill with boiling water.
Mix well, then add the Bi-carb.
Now sift together the remaining dry ingredients and mix well until you have a soft, smooth consistency.
Pour in- to a square or oblong baking pan lined with greaseproof paper and bake at 350° F for 40 minutes.
Remember that all gingerbreads collapse if disturbed too soon while baking.

Other recipes list golden syrup/corn syrup. Golden or light corn syrup is usually in your grovery store in the baking section placed next to dark corn syrup
