Egg Custard Pie Recipe
Ingredients
2 egg yolks
1 egg
3 c. milk
4 tbsp. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 unbaked pie shell
Nutmeg to taste
Directions
Beat egg yolks and egg together; add milk, sugar, salt and vanilla.
Mix well.
Pour into pie shell; sprinkle with nutmeg.
Bake in 450-degree oven for 10 min- utes.
Reduce oven temperature to 325 degrees.
Bake for about 30 minutes longer.
Custard is done when knife blade inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool for 5 to 10 minutes.
Mix well.
