Egg Biscuits Recipe

Ingredients
Flour – 2 cups
Baking Powder – 4 teaspoon
Cream of Tartar – ½ teaspoon
Salt – ½ teaspoon
Sugar – 2 tablespoon
Shortening – ½ cup
Egg – 1
Milk – 2/3 cup
Directions
MAKING
1) In a bowl, mix in the flour, salt and the baking powder
2) Using a knife, cut the shortening into the flour
3) Add in the egg and the milk and to bring the dough together
4) On a floured board, turn the dough onto it and knead it well
5) Using a rolling pin, rollout the dough and use a biscuit cutter to cut desired shapes
6) Place the cut biscuits on a greased baking sheet
7) Bake at 450F for 15 minutes

8) Serve warm
