Egg & Potato Pie Recipe Video
Now I am going to prepare a sauce for my potatoes and egg dish.
Ingredients
chopped red onion
chopped leeks
dash of black pepper
pinch of salt
3 tbsp flour
milk
1 tbsp English mustard
1 tbsp fresh cream
boiled eggs, sliced
crunchy mashed potatoes
cheese
Directions
Medium heat a pan. Add red onion to the pan. Add leeks.
Cook for a few minutes. Add salt and pepper. Stir well.
Add flour to the pan. Stir continuously.
Add milk. Stir well.
Cook for 10-15 minutes. Turn off the heat.
Add English mustard to the pan. Mix well.
Add fresh cream. Mix well.
In a pan, put eggs over the crunchy mashed potato layer.
Pour a layer of sauce.
Make another layer of mashed potatoes over the sauce.
Do it with the cheese and place in the oven until lightly browned (18-20 minutes).
