Basic Egg Foo Yung Sauce Recipe

I originally made this Egg Foo Yung Sauce for my spouse but I can't stop eating it now! If there is one Chinese dish that is unanimously regarded as the best in flavor, it is this Egg Foo Yung Sauce. Serve your family this delectable Egg Foo Yung Sauce today. They are gonna love it!

Ingredients

 
3/4 cup stock
 
1/2 teaspoon salt
 
2 tablespoons water
 
1 teaspoon soy sauce
 
2 teaspoons cornstarch

Directions

1. Heat stock; then stir in salt and soy sauce.
2. Meanwhile blend cornstarch and cold water to a paste. Then stir in to thicken.
3. Spoon sauce over each omelet; or serve hot in a side dish as a dip.
