Egg and Shrimp Toasts Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Bread slice | 4 | |
| Prepared mustard | 2 Teaspoon | |
| 8 oz shelled shrimp | ||
| Tomato ketchup | 4 Teaspoon (Garnish) | |
| Capers | ||
Directions
Beat the eggs with 1 tablespoon water and pinch of salt.
Melt.
2 tablespoons of the butter in a pan and lightly brown the bread on one side.
Place on a serving dish with the browned side uppermost.
Keep warm.
In the same pan melt the remaining butter and cook the egg mixture, stirring, until lightly set.
Spread the fried bread with mustard then spoon on the egg mixture.
Lastly top with the shrimp and serve garnished with tomato ketchup and a few capers.
Serve with a celery salad.
