Directions

GETTING READY
1.Take bread pieces and cut off the crust and cut the bread into cubes.
2.In a skillet over medium heat brown the sausage and be sure to drain any excess grease.
3.In a mixing bowl blend eggs and milk.
4.Take a cooking dish and spray it with non stick cooking spray.

MAKING
5.Place the bread cubes into the cooking dish.
6.Pour the sausage over the bread and on top of it pour the milk and egg mixture.
7.cover it with foil and place it in the refrigerator overnight

FINALIZING
8.Next morning preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
9. Sprinkle the casserole with cheddar cheese and bake it in the oven for about an hour.
10.Take it out of the oven and the dish is ready to serve.

I have not had a chance to experiment with this recipe much, but some other people have been writing me and telling me that they use all kinds of different cheeses for this casserole. This recipe makes a great base to add to... you can add veggies, different meats, cheeses, etc. The parmesan should work just fine. I think I will try that next time I make this!
