Economical Salad Dressing Recipe

Ingredients
1 oz. flour
1 egg
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 pt. water
Few grains cayenne pepper
4 Tbs. vinegar
1 tsp. salt
3 Tbs. salad oil
1 Tbs. sugar
Directions
Mix the first six ingredients together and stir in the water gradually.
Add the vinegar and cook over boiling water until it thickens, and then for 5 minutes more.
Cool and beat in the oil.
