Economical Fruit Punch Recipe
Ingredients
| Sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Water | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Tea leaves | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Ginger, 2 big pieces, crushed | ||
| Orange squash or pineapple squash, 1 cup | ||
| Cold water | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Lemon juice, 4 to 5 tablespoons | ||
| Apple, 1, finely chopped | ||
| One banana, sliced | ||
| Soda | 1 Bottle (1l) | |
Directions
Add some water to crushed ginger, and strain the juice.
Combine sugar and 1/2 cup water in a sauce pan and bring to boil.
Let it boil on low heat for 2 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Add tea leaves.
Strain the syrup when cold.
Mix syrup, orange squash, water, ginger juice and lemon juice.
Just before serving add soda to the syrup mixture.
