Eating On The Cheap Recipe

Ingredients
| Stewing beef | 3 Pound, cut into cubes | |
| 3 chopped parsnips or carrots | ||
| Potatoes | 3 , sliced | |
| Onion soup mix package | 1 | |
| Pepper | 1 | |
| Garlic powder | ||
| 1/2 cup cheap red wine | ||
Directions
Preheat oven to 325°.
Place the meat and chopped vegetables, mixed with the dry onion soup, on a very large sheet of heavy duty foil.
Sprinkle with pepper and garlic powder.
Add the wine.
Wrap the mixture in the foil, seal it well but leave a "blowhole" in the top so it won't explode.
Place in oven and bake for 1 1/2 hours at 325-350°.
