Ingredients

 Whole tomatoes1 Can (10 oz)
 Corn oil2 Tablespoon
 Sliced onion1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Garlic1 Clove (5 gm), minced
 Chicken broth1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
 Dark corn syrup1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
 Dried thyme leaves1⁄2 Teaspoon
 Salt1⁄2 Teaspoon
 Cooked turkey3 Cup (48 tbs), cut in 1 inch cubes
 Frozen peas10 Ounce (1 Package)
 Orange peel piece1
 Cornstarch2 Tablespoon
 Water3 Tablespoon

Directions

Drain and cut tomatoes in half, reserving liquid.
Heat corn oil in a large skillet over medium high heat.
Add onion and garlic; saute 5 minutes.
Stir in tomatoes and liquid, chicken broth, corn syrup, thyme and salt; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes.
Add turkey, peas and orange peel; simmer 10 minutes.
Mix cornstarch and water until smooth; stir into turkey mixture.
Stirring constantly, bring to a boil over medium heat; boil 1 minute.
